To a dog, perfume does not equal clean since it makes them different from their natural environment - not a good thing in a dogs world. Dogs prefer natural, earthy scents that smell like their natural environment.. What to do?
Make bath time fun and fresh but skip the perfume. Use soap and bath products that will neutralize odor and leave your pup smelling fresh, not flowery. Add some fun and fizz! Dog Spa Bath Fizzies clean, deodorize and leave your dog's coat fluffy and fresh smelling. Simply dissolve one Fizzie in your dog's bath water for a fun, fizzy bath that will leave a clean, fresh scent that will live up to both you, and your dog's, standard of clean. Dog Spa Bath Fizzies are available on-line at Paw Print Island Pet Boutique .
After you have cleaned your pup's bedding does he/she reject the "nice clean bed"?When washing your dog's blankets or bedding, keep in mind that many laundry detergents and fabric softeners have heavy floral or perfume-like scents. When laundering these items opt for fragrance free detergent and add baking soda to the wash cycle as a natural deodorizer.
Fresh Smelling Breath
Good dental hygiene is important for overall health. In addition to a routine of teeth brushing, munching on hard chews and treats helps prevent tarter buildup on your dog's teeth. A variety of different types, given as a treat once a day, will result in cleaner teeth and fresher breath. Healthy dog treats are fun and easy to make at home!

Now I understand why Jackson will roll around in the grass, and sometimes the dirt, after we give him a bath! Thanks for the info!
